Today around 4,500 children die from water related diseases every day and millions of people don't have access to clean water. Water is essential for agriculture and food security and every year drought drives millions of people of people from their homes.
Using data from satellites imaging the globe from space, we monitor water availability and drought across fragile regions.
This short video shows you how we do this and how we can help you achieve your water resource management goals.
We use geospatial analysis and earth observation in many other thematic areas and will be creating more videos to demonstrate this. If you have a particular challenge that we might be able to help you solve, we would love to hear from you and maybe create a video about it.

The way you highlighted using geospatial data to better understand water access and management challenges was really interesting—it shows how much clearer patterns become when you can actually map them out. It made me think about how decisions might shift when visual data replaces assumptions on the ground. I wonder how accessible these tools are for smaller communities that could benefit from them most. In a loose sense, it even connects to something like Research Proposal Writing Help, where structuring information in the right way can completely change how a problem is approached and understood over time.
