We are looking for a skilled and organised individual with a passion for GIS and imagery analysis to join our team as a GIS Technician to deliver cutting-edge projects for our clients.
About the Job
As a key member of our technical team, you will use your expertise to deliver projects to time, cost, and quality expectations. Whether working independently or collaborating with small teams, you will be responsible for managing your own work and ensuring that good communication is maintained with colleagues and clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Data collection: Source and validate data from external sources or create data from imagery or using other tools.
Data management: Clean, process, and load data to support project deliverables in line with procedures.
Data exploitation: Analyse datasets using GIS and statistical analysis to reveal insights.
Presentation of results: Create maps, dashboards, story-maps and graphics to present the results of analysis visually.
Imagery classification and processing: Classify imagery using a range of automated and semi-automated techniques to support project work.

About you
We are looking for someone with practical experience working with:

Esri ArcGIS Pro
-
Esri ArcGIS OnLine
-
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Experience using Google Earth Engine or coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, R and Arcade is desirable.
Experience with visualisation and business information management software, such as Tableau, Power BI, or VizSweet is beneficial.
Similarly, experience with Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial.
