About the role
You will be responsible for the everyday engagement with the people we work with. This includes building and nurturing relationships with our clients and growing network of subject matter experts.
Identifying and engaging with potential and existing Alcis clients, primary implementing organisations and technical partners by email and phone.
Preparing and delivering presentations virtually and, in the future, face to face.
Grow, engage, and manage Alcis’ Subject Matter Expert, (SME) technical and thematic silo. Keep in regular contact and look for collaborative opportunities.
Monitor social media and the press for relevant news and stories that will provide insight into, and understanding of, our clients and their strategies and ambitions.
Support to the wider team
Provide support to the Business Development team by developing presentations, newsletters and brochures. Assisting with pipeline monitoring and preparing proposals.
Operating from our office in Guildford, we support international development projects providing insight and analysis to enable evidence-based decision making in some of the world’s most fragile and complex environments.
We are looking for an Account Coordinator to join our busy Business Development Team
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will support the team to build and nurture relationships with both clients and subject matter experts.
