In Northern Uganda, the illegal production of charcoal is driving the widespread burning of trees exacerbating the country's deforestation problem, leading to soil degradation, reduced biodiversity and other negative consequences.

Keeping up with the Kuchis
Over 1.5 million nomadic Kuchis in Afghanistan face poverty and marginalisation. Alcis was tasked to find their migratory routes for an aid donor to provide support during their annual livestock mating season in October 2020.
