CARD-F

Alcis provided support to programme design, data acquisition and analysis along with development of key data as part of one of the most innovative and best integrated development DfID initiatives in Afghanistan.

In 2009, there was evidence that an increasing number of local farmers were reverting to opium production and whether this was due to monetary incentives or pressure from local Taliban, the CARD-F (Comprehensive Agriculture and Rural Development - Facility) initiative needed to better understand the environment they operate in.

Funded by DfID as part of one of the most innovative and best integrated development initiatives in Afghanistan, Alcis provided support to programme design, data acquisition and analysis along with development of key data.
