GIS allows us to conduct spatial analysis which can shows trends and patterns in the data which may not be visible in a table or a graph. The World Health Organisation provides data for a number of variable, and once put into a GIS give a much better picture of global health issues. This data can provide crucial data for decision makers and aid workers.
