Alcis visualises data to map human impact on the environment. For example, we mapped water catchment areas in a remote region to show how damming affected downstream communities.

  Catchment analysis

  We produced a range of products including 3D models and fly-throughs that described the environment in detail. These products included catchment maps showing drainage at different scales which provided DAI with a better understanding of the catchment dynamics, enabling better planning.

  Flood Modelling

  We used predictive modelling tools to show simulations of flood events and the communities and roads that would be most affected and classifying them also.
